The purpose of this site is simple. I want to share with the world how to learn, perform, and earn as a medical laboratory technician. There will be some bonus material in here as well, like fun videos, links to other sites, and cool pictures. The overall purpose is to give everyone a sneak peak into the world of an MLT.How HELP ME MLT Originated
I actually developed the name for this site in the midst of studying for my clinical phase. You'd be surprised what four walls and dead silence will inspire during your study time(smile). I was looking over the thick purple and green certification book (don't be afraid, it's only a book
) I had been given during my orientation. Long story short, I thought, "Man! I remember the great help I received to pass my first phase of MLT training. I could make a blog to help others."I toyed around with some phrases (even Bacon Lettuce Tomato, hehehe). Eventually, I chose HELP ME MLT. It may not be the prettiest looking web address, but it's catchy!
